Query and update a datasheet

hi, another question

I need people to search through a list of quotes shown in a subdatasheet by entering a quote ref on this mainform and updating the datasheet so that one record is selected if it is found.

any ideas?

Validating a Data field on a form, using data held in a seperate table? Update a datafield to minus a number used in seperate form ?
