In MS SQL I used a program that would report on what tables, stored queries, etc. were being accessed when a window was opened.

Is there something similar in DB2? I want to make a Crystal Report of a work order. I can open the work order on the screen, but have no associated report. I would like to open the work order, see what it accessed, and then pull those fields into my report.

Does anyone know how I would go about doing this in DB2?

I'm running DB2 Express Edition version 9.5 and Crystal Reports version 11.

Did you try a google search on "DB2 query analyzer"?

You will find nice results like this

Cheers,
Dian

DB2 on the AS400 has "Iseries Navigator". Navigator is a client side tool for DB2 that has similiar functionality to Toad or Query Analyzer.

DB2 express edition 9.5 almost certainly does not relate to AS400.
Iseries Navigator will provide you with explain plans when working with AS400, but it is a dreadfull client tool. It consumes resources like nothing I have ever used. A Java nightmare for sure..
