Hello,

Please can someone walk me through how (if possible) I can open a .mpp file made with MS Project 2003 and run queries on its data?

I've never even done this from an older server, but after doing some searching I'm starting to think its even harder from our Windows Server 2008 64 bit machine.

Thank in advance for any responses.

Thank you for the reply.

I have seen that method and believe it will work, however I would hope not to have to ask them to do that, they are lazy and complain enough already about filling in a simple timesheet program.

I read somewhere it's not available in later versions and some of my users are already on 2007 & 2010 versions, is that true?

I don't mind suggesting they all upgrade if that would make life easier.

I only need read only access.

Actually housedouble, the ability to save the entire file as a db has been removed from later releases.

Perhaps if you told us more what you were looking for we could be of more help. I only know what you think about your users -- but don't really know much about what you are trying to accomplish.
