queries freeze

Crystal Reports Professional 9.2.2.634
SQL Server 8.00.194

Crystal report runs, all is fine.
Sometimes it freezes up when there are a lot of users.

Separately, SQL query analyzer runs fine.
If crystal is open but not running against the db, it is usually fine.
Sometimes, if crystal has been run against the db, and then sql query analyzer is run, sql query anlayzer freezes.
If crystal is closed at that point, then sql query analyzer immediately imports the results.

This seems like a caching issue, or could it be something else? Do we need to add patches to crystal? Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, what was your resolution?

Haven't heard of that one, I'd test on another machine as it sounds like something may be askew with that box.

There are CR 9 service packs which might help, and there may be patches for your OS that might help, too many variables to state definitively.
