I have a simple query with a simple calculation - subtracting one number from another -, which is fine, the calculation works and gives me the correct answer. But the answer will not print on a report which is run from the query. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

Off the top of my head, I would suggest basing the report on the ANSWER table rather than the query and see what happens. If the result is in the answer table as expected, and still won't show on the report, then the problem is your formatting. If the problem is that when you view the report on the screen you can't see it (but it actually prints out fine), it may be that you need to un-check the 'fit height' property of the field.

I'll try the answer table way, I don't think it's my formatting, I've checked and un-checked every box that's checkable! But I'll go back and check them again,
