On internal calls to a group hunt group we get a welcome message but on external calls to the same group hunt group it just rings until answered or drops out. does anyone have any hints. md110 BC10

Hi,

Have a look at PARNUM=116 (ASPAPARNUM=116. With this parameter you control what kind of A-party that will hear an announcement.

Announcement provided for calls to a PBX-group:

1 = A-party: internal
2 = A-party: public trunk
4 = A-party: tie line

If you want announcement for let´s say internal and public calls the value of PARNUM=116 should be at least 3. Other values can also be correct depending on the conditions for the below announcements. (ASPACARNUM=116,PARVAL=3

The parameter also have effect on announcements in conjunction with Follow Me/Diversion. Other values apply in that case.

Thanks FICRI but we have checked all parnums including 116 (set at 7)

check out Aspac 161 (false B-answer), set it to maximum value (255) and Aspac 147 (False B-answer to external line when a call is placed in queue to ACD/PBX-group)it
must be set to 1. time can be controlled through aspac 138

Thank You FICRI and WHOSERDADDY for your help but it turned out to be parnum139 was set to 4 and i changed it to 1
