Quciktime export settings problem

Since upgrading to Quicktime 7.5.5 i seem to be having problems opening the settings when exporting a quicktime film. It allows me to open it from the admin account but not the user account for the editors. I have created a new user to see if it works there and had no luck. I have reinstalled an older version and also no luck. Any ideas would be grateful.
