Quattro Pro File opens to 2 files .wb3:1 and .wb3:2

Any info on why a Quattro Pro file *.wb3 when opened actually opens 2 (apparently identical) files without any prompts to open supporting, etc. The files that open are the same filename but add :1 and :2 as in *.wb3:1 and *.wb3:2

Any help or info would be much appreciated.
