I've got QuarkXPress 3.32 and I've got a 100 - pages of footnotes to get from Word - do you have to do them by hand - does Quark 4 do it - import the footnotes and superscript - because right now it ain't looking good. Please would be grateful for any suggestions

No simple solutions, but you might want to cut-and-paste out of Word. (Pour the copy first, so you'll know where to put them.)
