Quark XPress Platform Compatibility?

Does anyone know specifically if Quark Xpress will run on Windows ME?

It does not explicitly state this on the Quark site, and when I sent this simple question to their email tech support, I received back a very non-helpful 3 or 4 page long 'archive' of 'known issues', none of which seem to deal with or answer my query.

I want to purchase Quark, but at $900, I want to know that it will run on Windows ME before making the investment.

If anyone knows this one way or the other, please relay the information? Thanks!

Hey there,

I think there is an evaluation copy you can download from Quark.com. That may be a good way to test it. If there are no Download choices for your OS (ME) try 98. ME is a souped version of 98. I have Quark running on 98, and Win 2000 without any problems. Hope that helps.
