Quark wont fire up

I have a IMAC G5 and I am running Quark 6.5
Until today it has worked great and had no problems.
Fired up the computer today and everything is running okay, Illustrator, photoshop etc. Try to fire up quark and it keeps coming up with an error that quark has unexpectly quit. Shut down the computer, rebooted about times and still no Quark. Any one ever have this happen or have any suggestions.

..try dumping you quark preferences file...

...you will find this in Library folder...

...if this fails to work, move your quark extensions to somewhere else and try again...

...thanks, the quark preferences often get corrupted, so if quark plays up a lot then this ought to be your first fix to try...
