quark to pdf

ive written spiritual bks in quark 5 and printer cant open quark so i have to convert to pdf. i try to do it and it says i cant when im in quark cos i havent got disteiller or somethin like that. i have acrobat 6 and cant import into that either. can anyone advise how if possible i can do this? thanks perhaps if your kind enuff you can write to:

When you install the full version of Acrobat6 it should install the distiller also. When you open up your quark doc, press ctrl+P to print, in the pull down menu where the printer is, pull down to distiller, and press print. Make sure your settings are correct in the quark print box! I have windows and this is how I do it, on mac I think the distiller is on the desktop and you drag the file on to it.

As a work around to the distiller program, you can save your document as an EPS and open it back up in photoshop save it out as a PDF. Until you get distiller working on your system.
Just a quick fix.
