I finally got my boss to upgrade to Quark 6.
Problem is, the only other Mac I've used had an older oprating system. (We have an eMac now), and I have a font problem.
When I try to open a file I've been working on for about a month, I get the message "uses fonts not installed on your system". The only fonts used in this document are Times New Roman and Arial. They were both usable for the last month. Any idea what I need to do?

Thanks!

Are you saying that you are opeining a document that has never been opened on this particular OS before? Do Times New Roman and Arial appear in Quark's font list? If so, can you replace the font versions referenced from the previous OS with the current available versions of these fonts?

I finally got my boss to upgrade to Quark 6.

...this may be your problem.

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?

I actually created this document in version 6.
I'm just new with this OS, so I thought there may be something about font handling I didn't understand.
(I'm better on a PC!)

I saved this doc Mon. afternoon.
When I tried to open it yesterday, it said these fonts weren't available......Huh?

Thanks!
