I have a quark (6.5) document been working on it for a few days... it had 3 layer tabs on it each tab had a 16 page document, had been saved at regular intervals, today application unexpectidly quit, when restarted and the document was opened again, the main layer on which i was working had only 2 pages on it... 14 pages just disappeared... all the text and picture boxes on the document that were on the missing 14 pages are now all off to the side of pages 1 & 2... anyone any ideas whats gone off why it happened and any easy fix? and anything to stop it happening again?

...that sounds nasty to me, never experienced that before...

...personally i've avoided the use of multiple projects in one quark file...

...if you have no back up of this file in question, i think you may have to consider starting over...

...quark is a struggle at times, i have had problems with saving files before, where i would open a file, rename the layout and try to save and quark not allowing me to save at all, so I give up thinking i'll start over, close the file without save, to find the quark file has been deleted...

...i would delete quarks preference file so it can rebuild on launch...

...with your situation, i would seriously consider creating a new document rather than trying to revamp the one that screwed up, and with such a large file, set up auto backup in the preferences...

...then at the end of every lengthy session you may have, make a backup copy of the whole project off your computer to removable media...
