Hi thanx for anwsers.. runnin' OS X panther.
No I dont have that virtual postscriptprinter- gotta check that out.. someone else showed me that it is , in fact, possible to make a PS file from quark 6, it´s just very well hidden.. apparently quark really wants people to use their own PDF creator within the program.

Command Print
Page Setup:
Format for: Adobe pdf
Paper Size: Select suitable page size - you might need to set up a custom page & then go back & reselect it
Set up the job with crops, bleed, whatever else you need & check the preview to make sure everything fits on the page size you selected
Print:
Printer: Adobe pdf
Output Options: check off "Save as file"
Format - postscript
Save
