Quark 6 not collecting for output

I've recently upgraded from XPress 4.1 to 6.0 (er, 6.1 with the update yesterday). I've created a new document and tried to collect for output. With linked and embedded images checked, I am getting the following error:
"The selected project cannot be collected in this folder because a file with that name already exists in this location. Please save the project with a different file name or in a different location [320]"
Obviously, the only file I have in the folder is the document itself. On the occassion that it looks like Quark is actually collecting? It goes through the motions and nothing ever arrives in the folder.

Any ideas to get this working?

I'm grasping at straws a bit here, but you may need more RAM. I had the experience of Quark not saving (saying that the file was already open, but I only had that one version open!). Are you by any chance running on a Mac with Panther? Panther sucks up a LOT of RAM.

Again, grasping at straws. Quark never seems to give you an error message that actually describes the real problem.

Thanks but I have 1.5G of RAM - even Quark can't suck that bad..ha ha And yes, I'm running Panther.

Anyway, since I posted, I have found pieces of what should have been collected in one spot scattered about. How nice. I'm not even sure I can redescribe this new-and-improved problem until it occurs again.
