I have been running Quark 6.52 and recently upgraded AcrobatPro to 9.0 and every time I bring a customer's PDF into Quark, it shows and prints choppy.
Am I missing something here? Help/advise would be appreciated!

Do you alter the PDF files in any way in Acrobat 9 or are you placing them directly from what the customer provides? QuarkXPress is not affected by an installation of Acrobat.

What PDF version is used in the choppy PDF files? Maybe you do need to open them in Acrobat 9 and save them to a lesser PDF version that is more compatible with QuarkXPress.

HI whitestar14

Why are you bringing a PDF into Quark to print?
That just gives you an image of the document.
Why not print from Acrobat or reader, That will print the actual fonts which gives you a much better print quality.
I have trouble with Quark 6.52 printing jpg and tiff to an HP printer.
So I export to PDF and print from Adobe reader.
