Large layout size when printing from Quark 6.52 or 7.02 is an issue. I can create a new quark document for example a page size of 18x23.5 and print fine to a desktop printer or an image setter then save it. When I open up the Quark document again "later in the day" and try to print it the same size, Quark will not allow me to. Or if I have changed from one printer to another it will not allow me to print the size I need. The print setup tells me the "value must be between 1" and 14". [26]" and I can not go any further to print the Quark document to the size I need. I then have to go back to Quark 5 on OS9 which never gave me this issue from Quark 6 or 7 in OS 10. But then I would run into font issues because the fonts from OS 10 will not work in OS9 which is a whole other issue. I am leaning more and more to InDesign which I have had no problem so far! Quark was good and have used it for years but is has failed for the future!

If you load fonts in the Fonts folder within the "System Folder" (that's the Classic OS9 system on an OSX machine, NOT the folder simply named "System") they will be availabe to both Classic and OSX apps.

If loaded in Library/Fonts they are only available to OSX apps.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
