Quark 5 crashing

Hi all! I'm using Quark 5 on Windows XP. It's been fine for years. Now... all of a sudden... today it crashes every time I try to import a photo or create a pdf.

Any suggestions? I'm normally a Mac person, so I'm at a loss as to what to do on a PC. Thanks!
