My version of quark 4.1 is running about as fast as an iraqi oil pipe! for instance when i select a line of text and hit delete, it will take upto 7-8 seconds before the text deletes. this only happens on my mac in a studio of 4 pretty decent G4's. i have re-installed quark, took of extensions, re-built the desktop, does anyone know what could cause this. It is making my days about 12 hours longer and i must get some sleep!

Quark 4.1 runs slow

File sharing on? If someone else is copying from your drive, or working directly on a file on your drive, this can happen. Along with any other server backups. Has it just started? Only certain times of day? That's the only thing I can really think of.
