We used to have a Dell PowerVault 112T 1U VS80 DLTIV. To replace I purchased a Quantum SDLT 320. Which accourding to my vendor and Quantum's web site can read VS80 tapes...just not mine. The drives churns and then reports either bad media or no tape. Software is backup exec 9.1 and the OS is Windows 2000 Server. This happens to every tape I try. Suprisingly enough I need to retrioeve a file from aa 2006 backup ASAP.
