Quantum LTO-3 HH External SCSI Drive NOISE

Hello guys,

I am new to tape storage and 2 days ago I bought a Quantum LTO-3 HH tabletop SCSI drive (model TC-L32BX-EY).

The drive seems to be OK but the external enclosure has a noisy fan. The fan makes more noise than my Dell 1800 server.

Is that normal or is something wrong with it ?? It seams to blow a lot of air through.

Please advise.
