HI THERE
I HAVE A QUANTUM FIREBALL 3.5 SERIES 2.5GB HARD DISK
WHEN I ATTATCH IT TO MY P3 600MHZ SYSTEM (I ALREADY HAVE 20 GB SEAGATE ATTATCHED TO IT) AND BOOT THE SYSTEM IT RECOGNIZES THE HDD AT THAT TIME BUT WHEN THE SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY BOOTED IT DONT IT IN MY COMPUTER
ONE MORE THING MY QUANTUN HDD MAKES A VERY LOUD CHIRPING SOUND? CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHAT EXACTLY IS THE PROBLEM AND IF IT NEEDS REPAIRING THAN PLEASE DO TELL ME THE INSTRUCTIONS SO THAT I CAN DO IT?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

have you ran fdisk? deleted and created partitions? checked to make sure there is a partition? what os are you running? js error; 67 on line; 36 of signature.class

well i have win 2000 professional .i tried booting up my system with quantun hdd using bootable floppy but and run fdisk, but it says "no fixed disk present"..what should i do

Probably go to an earlier OS fdisk for the time it takes to delete the partition. If 6.22 fdisk doesn't see it you might as well replace it. Ed Fair
