Back when I worked at a Book Printer here in Australia, we had to undertake a QA Assurance program and get accreditation to ISO 9001 (Quality Assurance).
It was a whole to do.
Which entailed creating detail procedures documentation for everything.
And I mean everything...down to how to wash you hands.
We had to get this done as companies require you have this standard before they send you work.
You as a company then get assessed every year or so.
It was a living nightmare to go through....
