Installed an Osicom Quad Ethernet card in my Solaris 7 Sparc station:

ifconfig -a

lo0: flags=849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 8232
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000
exp0: flags=863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 147.202.1.2 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 147.202.1.255
ether 0:0:bc:11:c9:bf
exp1: flags=863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 147.202.2.2 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 147.202.2.255
ether 0:0:bc:11:c9:be
exp2: flags=863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 147.202.250.10 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 147.202.250.255
ether 0:0:bc:11:c9:bd
exp3: flags=863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 147.202.41.203 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 147.202.41.255
ether 0:0:bc:11:c9:bc
hme0: flags=863<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 209.98.248.69 netmask fffffffc broadcast 209.98.248.71
ether 8:0:20:a7:3f:3a

icmp pings work well but traceroutes don't are ont successful. The machine doesn't use the default gateway on hme0. I've got a defaultrouter file installed with the gateways address.

traceroute: Warning: has multiple addresses; using 216.32.74.52
traceroute: Warning: Multiple interfaces found; using 147.202.1.2 @ exp0
traceroute to (216.32.74.52), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 * * * ANYONE KNOW WHAT GIVES?

traceroute -i <interface that you want to use> < Address that you want to find >

you have lots of cards/interfaces ... traceroute doesn't know which to use by default, so picks the first ...

I have the same problem (I think).
"traceroute servername" doesn't work, but "traceroute -I servername" does!

No idea what's wrong.
