qtine.mdb not written qtinewrk not emptying

I'm running Groupshield 5 SP2 on a NT4 SP6 server with Exch 5.5 SP4.

Groupshield is quarantining files to the qtinewrk folder and I can see the files in the folder OK.

However, the qtinewrk.mdb database is not being created.

On further analysis I've noted that the log.mdb is not being created either.

I can see in taskmgr that DAO_LOG.EXE and LOG_QT~1.EXE are running at intervals but they don't appear to be updating anything.

Does anyone know why?
