QT error -2048 (2 gig limit???)

Hi Im having trouble playing a .mov file. Its gives me a -2048 error.
I have 3 files the first 2 play no problems the 3rd has the error.
The person who supplied the files says all 3 work fine for him.
The 3rd is the only file that is over 2 GIG. Could this be the problem? Are there any workarounds?
