Hello, I am looking for some help with the line item view in QSR Automations KDS version 8.0
For a restaurant running Aloha with QSR Automations KDS, I am trying to use the line item view but it will not show the order name that is entered into the registers. The display options in the line item template offer to show the "table number, transaction number, or table name" When I choose these options I get either 0's for a table number or dashes for the name. I can get the transaction number but I really want to use the names or numbers that are entered into the registers because our expediting system is based on that.
When using the Grid Expo or Flex Expo views this information does show. I noticed that in the Grid or Flex options it has the option for "order headers" where you can have the "customer name" in there which is why it shows. The only other info I have is that I looked in Aloha and the term used for entering that information is "Name Orders". Im stuck at the moment and seeing as how i have gotten a lot of useful information from this board previously, I figured I would post this question. I do realize that I can call QSR Automations tech support as well which I will do if necessary, I just wanted to see if anyone here could help.
