We have a customer that has 2 call managers. One in Texas and one in Mexico. The system in Texas has a Modular Messaging system for Voice mail with a T-1 QSIG connection to the call manager. This works fine for users on that Call manager.
They added the 2nd call manger in Mexico and wanted to use the voice mail system in Texas. All of the features work except for forwarded calls.
When the call is sent to the system in Texas we see it coming in on the T-1 to the VM system but it shows as a call divert 1 and it should show as a call divert 2, that tells the MM system to answer with the called numbers mailbox if one exists.
I think it may have something to do with the way the router that houses the T-1 is registered to the call managers.
I know very little about the Cisco but I was told that the router is the kind that will only register to one call manager and that there is one that will register to more than one.
Not sure if this is it or not but I was also told by the customer that they called Cisco and they did not know why it would not work.
Any and all insight into this problem is greatly appreciated
