Hi,

Periodically we are getting an issue where dialling from the Nortel to the ShoreTel gives busy tone. The condition last for a short while then corrects itself. DCH trace of the offending event shows very similar output to this old case (thread798-1676504) would be nice to know the resolution to that one.

Anyway here's my trace of the event:

No alarms listed for the circuit either.

The only oddity is that acouple of channels go lock-out (then idle):

There is very little traffic into the Nortel it's 99% ShoreTel to Nortel for public and CDP dialling.

Before I go and talk to the ShoreTel tech I just wanted to check over my config with anyone else who has a connection to a ShoerTel.

Thanks.

I would make sure the Shoretel has the same number of trunks configured as the Nortel. I have ran into scenarios where we configured 23 channels on the Nortel side but the other side was only licensed for maybe 12. So the Nortel would try to send a call over channel 23 but the other end did not have channel 23. Just a thought.

Thanks for the quick reply, I will check both and report back.
