I am a complete dummy when it comes to data. Does anyone have suggestions connecting an avaya s8500 to remote BCM 400's/BCM 50's at the Branches? My manager is interested in SIP trunking. BCM's then need QSIG licenses and SIP trunking licenses??? I am clueless.

If using IP sets and IP trunking, yes u'll need keycodes for the sets and trunks.

Thanks. Do i also need sip keycode? I am confused between voip trunking keycodes and sip trunking keycodes.

- VoIP Trunk Keycodes can be used for either H323 or SIP
- SIP Trunk Keycodes can be used for SIP only

If you plan to use SIP only - never H323, the SIP Trunks are less expensive.
