I have a customer that just installed a s8300 and is using ip trunks and qsig we take care of the VM. When you call the VM at the far end the 8300 is sending the name but not the number of the ext this happens on a direct call or a call that is covered. When you monitor the call you see the name but not the number what are we missing ?

If you look at the trunk, is there a setting to send connected number on the 2nd page? Have a vague recollection this was our issue.

On the second page of the trunk form check and make sure the send name, send number, and send Called/Busy/Connected Number are set to yes. Also check the Format on the second page. If all of these are set to yes and the private numbering plan or the public-unknown numbering plan are not set up or set up wrong, this will cause an issue.

Also check the stations secon page to see what the per station CPN is set at. It should be blank or Y.
