How do i change qpopper to listen to my nic address instead of 0.0.0.0 like this:
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:110 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 873/popper

I have two nics in my box. I only want qpopper to listen to one of them.
Thanks

To my understanding 0.0.0.0:110 is telling popper to listen for all addresses on port 110. You can change the default by recompiling it with a different ip and port with the following command "./configure xxx.xx.xx.x:110". If you don't want to recompile, you can enter your ip:port on the command line or use the " -f filename " option, where file name is the name of the config file where you list all your options. I think the options are listed on page 27 of the manual.

Hi,
I tried the 192.168.1.2:110 and netstat -natp still shows:
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:110 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 789/popper

Any idea why. It should show up as listening on 192.168.1.2

Thanks
