Hello... Question for you gurus
If QoS is in use on our video conference system, what happens if the switch gear between the video conference system and the router is not QoS compliant? (3com Surestack) Will it strip the frame tag or will it just pass it along? Is it dependant on the switching type (store & forward, fragment free, etc.)? If it forwards the frame without stripping the frame tag out, all is good. However if it is stripping the tag, we have a complication. If the frames getting to the router don't have QoS tagging, the router will have to tag all frames from the Vid system with QoS.
Can anybody give me some tips here?
