What type of Extreme Networks Switches do you have? Newer ExtremeXOS or older ExtremeWare Switches. Best if you can just list the model numbers and I'll figuer it out. QoS is configured a little differen on the old stuff vs. the new stuff.
I can help. I happen to be an expert on Exterme QOS. I have actually taught classes on it.
Assuming that you are using ExtremeXOS. Perhaps an X450a or X250e switch. I don't know.
You'll need to enable diffserv examination on all ports that you want to examin DSCP 41. DiffServ/ToS examination is not enabled on ExtremeXOS switch ports by default. Instead, 802.1p Examination is.
Also, are you using stacked switches and what software version. Standalone ExtremeXOS switches have eight queues for prioritizatoin. However, if you are stacking switches you will lose 1 or 2 of these queues to stacking control depending on your software version.
It's hard to answer you with an exact configuration without knowing basically what you have. I don't need your configuration files or IP's. I just need the following to give you the correct response.
1. Switch Model Numbers?
2. ExtremeWare or ExtremeXOS Software Versions?
3. Stacking any switches together? Yes or No
4. Do you have IP Telephoney Implemented? Yes or No
5. What QoS behavior do you want to achieve?
Lets assume four queues or QoS profiles:
QP4 Highest
QP3 High-Medium
QP2 Medium
QP1 Low
What traffic do you want to go into the queues above based on DiffServ. For example...
DNS, mysql dscp 41? Queue Higest, low, medium, high but equal to 42 and 43? etc..
TCP/UDP 5001 tag dscp 42? Queue Highest, low, medium, high but equal to 42 and 43?
all the rest DSCP 43? Queue Highest, low, medium, high but equal to 42 and 43?
