I am installing a new 3560 switch to our core 3750 stack.
we have shoretel phones going on the 3560. What is the recommended qos settings on the trunk links and on the individual ports?
If you use the smartport settings you get the following:
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
auto qos voip trust
spanning-tree link-type point-to-point
if you just enable qos on the port you get the following;
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20
srr-queue bandwidth shape 10 0 0 0
queue-set 2
mls qos trust cos
auto qos voip trust
