QoS----Priority Queuing

I have a cisco 3640 and want to apply Priority Queuing on Serial interface but when i apply it shows me a message that

Must disable Fast route cache first.

what does it mean and how i tacke it

interface in question
no ip route-cache
end

Then go back to what you were configuring.
