qmialctl stat

i am suffering from a new problem. when i used my script to stop the qmail service then it is showing that it is stopped. but after that when i see the stat (qmailctl stat) it gives me following output.
o/p : -
/service/qmail-send: down 1726 seconds, normally up
/service/qmail-send/log: down 1727 seconds, normally up
/service/qmail-smtpd: down 1727 seconds, normally up
/service/qmail-smtpd/log: down 1727 seconds, normally up
messages in queue: 2
messages in queue but not yet preprocessed: 2

i download the script from lifewithqmail.org site. also i checked it with inst_check script from same website. this script tells me that my qmailctl script is fine.
what is the problem.

This is the correct output for a stopped qmail service.

After you stop Qmail, qmailctl stat will show you that Qmail is indeed stopped. After you issue qmailctl start, you should see different output from qmailctl stat.
