I have a qmaster that is attached to an 8500 that was a 2400 ipx not so long ago. They are having the qmaster upgraded in the very near future. I don't work with call center applications on 8500s, so I have some questions that I am hoping someone can help with. They need to add 4 more ports. I believe they have 4 already and want to add 4 more. I have the sip licenses, but in-terms of adding the ports, I am not sure how to determine the ports that are already being used. I would think the are in a hunt group, but is there a way to determine what ext numbers are assigned for the 4 ports? That way I can just adjust the hunt group to include the new exts and thereby add the additional ports they need.
Also, they are switching from a USB dongle to a software license. My best guess is that I can't apply that until the time of the actual upgrade or can the soft license be applied now?

Thanks very much for any help.

You can list out the hunt groups.
LSHP = pilot hunt
LSHU = UCD hunt
LSHC = circular hunt

Thanks, for the insight. I think I may have figured some things out, well actually I did. I thought about doing the above but I wasn't sure if I could separate out what was going to q-master. It turns out that the exts are actually listed in the q-master. But what I didn't know what I needed an on site LMC for this new upgrade. So, I think I am headed in the right direction now. Thanks as always for your help and comments.
