Hello fellow coders. I have a slight vBulletin emailer issue:
I have a pretty fast dedicated server(3ghz with 2 gigs of ram) that we rent from a datacenter and I run my board soley on it. It runs Linux Fedora and uses Qmail for it's mailer. I have almost 15,000 regged users and it receives around 7-8 million page views/mo. I am running 3.5.2 and when I do a mass newsletter HTML email(yes mine can do html through my vB), the mail queue on the qmailer gets pretty clogged up and slows down after 6,000 emails has gone out, then it slows wayyyy down. They seem to go, but take sooooo long
I run ./qmHandle -s to see how many mails are stuck
It takes sometimes 10 hours to get all the emails out of the queue and back to normal.
Anyone have any bright ideas on how can I fix something like this?
