I have installed qmail from .deb files and it works perfect but in my previous install on a isdn dial-up system all our mail that was not for the local internal domain was queued in a /pppdir of a user we named 'popuser'. he also was owner of a the maildirs of all our users. We uploaded this mail via the serialmail tool.

Now with this fresh install on a new debian system the mail goes out to the internet without the queue. This is nice but i would like to have the old style back. That all the mail that is not for the internal domain goes to a directory on disk and we tell when it needs to go out. We our now also unsing vpopmail for our virtual mail users. In the old setup this was all done manualy.

Where should ik look to change this behavour

Thanks for any feedback.
