After upgrading to Perl 5.8.2 qmail stop sending mail.
qmailctl stat shows all is running.
But I get
"No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient."
from the email client "Outlook".
anyone help!
qmail is unaffected. you probably have an inline pre-/post-processor such as SpamAssassin (or maildrop?) in the delivery/sending sequences of your 'run' scripts.
Your upgrade of Perl has probably broken a dependency of a perl module that your anti-virus or anti-spam tools requires.
It is also possible that you are running some sort of perl-based inetd derivative (not DJB's tcpserver?) to manage your port-access.
Or you are running a firewall tool that requires Perl and is now broken....
Or....
Try using telnet from the client to make connections to a remote host and see the actual issues for yourself.
example: 'telnet mail.example.com 25'
