IS-IT--Management
hi @ all!
i have a rather odd problem:
in our company the mail traffic is managed by qmail. qmail delivers msg to local boxes and to pop-accounts outside the network (e.g. to adress foo@foo-org.net). every msg from any account is forwarded automatically to any other account. the main problem ist:
if a recipient mailbox at e.g. foo@foo-org.net is unreachable or the mailbox account is full the server at foo-org.net bounces the msg or sends a "delivery not possible because..." msg. this msg goes into qmail and the mailing list delivers it to all adresses on its list and therefore again to the adress foo@foo-org.net. this server bounces again and again and again... so our mail server gets spamed with rubbish mails. putting a filter for bounced mails in front of qmail is a problem too because then nobody knows, if a recipient outside our firm (another company,...) received the mails or bounced the mails. only internal mail bounces should be filtered!
does anybody have a simple solution?
thanks, and i apologise for my bad english for english not being my mothertounge...
