Hi everybody
I'm kind of new to qmail.
I've set-up qmail on Slackware linux 9, followinf Life with qmail step by step. everything worked just fin until I've got to aliases.
I've decided to use fastforward as aliases engine. So i've installed fasftforward 0.51. I've done everything by the book, but my qmail seem to skip reading the file /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-default.
I've tried several ways to write the /etc/aliases file:
user1: user2, user3
or
user1@domain: user2@domain, user3@domain
I've also tried several permisions on the ~/alias/.qmail-default file, but in any case, it seemd that qmail didn't even look to that file. No aliases worked.
I've tried again, new sistem install, new qmail install, using vpopmail, until that everything worked beautiful, but when it comes to aliases, the same problem.
Can anyone help me, is some way I ca convice qmail to look at the .qmail-default file? I mention that I've tried to place that file in other places, like:
/var/qmail
/home/user1
etc
Didn't worked either
thank-u
