Qlogic driver 2300 failed to attach to my Solaris servers.

Hi ....I'm running into a stumbling block & I hope someone out there can help.

I have some Sun servers V240s & V440 running Solaris 8.
I installed qlogic drivers 2300, IBMsdd driver , Sansurfer cli & recommended patch.

I have an IBM Shark (SAN Storage). I'm heving issues connecting the qlogic driver to my server.
I'm getting the following message " qlogic 2300 installed successfully, but failed to atach.
Does any one out there has any clue why it's not attaching.

Run the SCLI to check to see the version of the firmware that is currently running on your QLogic card. It could be it needs an update. You can also post your question to the Qlogic support site (which is not bad -- have used them before). Hope this helps.

Have you configured the qla.conf file?
