qinter job

My QINTER job was setup to restart automatically a few hours into the backup. But lately has not restarted.
I've had to restart manually (strsbs qinter).

How can I troubleshoot this?

Sounds like the program running the backup may have changed. What kind of backup is it? IBM Option 21 (full sys) backup, data file CL backup, you're not sure?

we found it, it was another users job in the scheduler waiting for a reply, the qinter job was next waiting for the other job to finish.
