QE-DEF-0326

I have created a bucnh of reports using the standard way of creating them through the model. All work except for one which was created using SQL (oracle database). I get the following error - QE-DEF-0326 User Defined SQL is not permitted for the user who has the identity....

A couple of questions. How do I get my identities to execute this report. Why does Cognos not treat this report the same way as the reports created through the builder.

You need to grant "User defined SQL" to everyone or to a group of users.

Open Cognos connection , Tools , Capability, Report Studio
Then you can see the entry "User Defined SQL" , Open the properties and in permissions add the needed groups.
If you want everyone , then grant Everyone permission to Execute and Traverse.
