qdaemon downs by itself

Hello, I have an IBM 4247 printer attached to an RS6000 H80 running AIX version 4.3.3. The problem is that the qdaemon downs by itself, and there is always the need to issue a 'startsrc -s qdaemon' once in a while to reenable the printer, or in other words to restart the qdaemon again.
