QCC To DLC

Customer is currently set up with 2 QCC operators and want to switch to DLC. How much reprogramming is involved to make this happen.

It depends. It's not hard to change but you need some info. Any T1 or pri, how many lines? Make sure you have enough buttons to handle lines and other features you want to use.

They have 2 PRIs but not a whole lot of call volume. Was thinking of having the calls ring out to the SA buttons instead of line appearances.

Back it up to the PC card before doing anything, in case you don't like the results.

Under Operators, Positions, set them as DLC's and "Save All". After the system restarts, any lines in pool 70 will be automatically assigned to the Operator phones, which you may want to remove.

Then renumber your main operator to whatever the telco sends for the main line, and probably add coverage for the main operator to the other ops.
