2 QCC Consoles. If they are both on the phone they want them to roll over to an Auto Attendant. Right now they just RNA. I am assuming that I can just put the calling group of 770 in the QCC backup. Is this correct?
Only a Calling Group can be programmed to provide Position Busy backup when all QCC operators activate Position Busy. If no Calling Group is designated to provide backup, the system does not allow the last QCC operator to activate Position Busy. A QCC cannot be a member of a Calling Group. A Calling Group can be a backup for calls in the QCC queue when all QCC operators are in the position-busy state. The QCC queue can be designated to provide overflow coverage for calls from one or more Calling Groups. When an overflow call is sent to the QCC queue, it cannot be distinguished as a call to a Calling Group.
Trust me on this...to save yourself so many headaches.....set your operatorss to DLC's. Then add your DLC operators to a calling group. You can add 5 SA buttons to replicate a DLC....the only functionality lossed and missed that I have noticed is the Queue alert in the display. The way to get arounnd that is to set the queue alarm threshold, add an inside autodial for the group on the DLC....and when the light starts blinking, fluttering, or steady, you know about how many calls are in queue. As well, you can inspect the auto dial button to get an exact amount. You as well have more choices for queue control. This is just my opinion and of course I am not sure on your application on why you have a need for the QCCs. Yet, I have noticed everywhere there is a QCC, a DLC in a calling group could take it's place.
